The rapper Carlos Coy was born on the 5th of October in 1970 in Houston, Texas, and he was 51 years old at the time of his death.

Previously, he attended a number of different primary schools before enrolling in the music magnet programme at Welch Middle School. At the time of his expulsion from Milby High School in 1987, he was in the ninth grade.

In subsequent years, SPM obtained his GED and enrolled in San Jacinto Junior College to seek a business associate's degree, but he failed all of the courses he attempted there.

Following his failure, he went on to work for pennies on the dollar at a chemical company, where he eventually lost his job. As a result, SPM began selling perfume door-to-door while also continuing to sell crack cocaine.
