What Is the Cause of Randy Travis' Illness and Health Issues? What Is Wrong With the Country Star?
Randy Travis has been forthright in discussing his disease and health issues.
A huge stroke struck the country artist in 2013, after he had been battling congestive heart disease for several years. As a result, he spent the most of his time in hospitals in Tennessee and Texas, and he had to have two brain operations as a result.
Travis appears to have also been hospitalised three times for pneumonia, during which he was intubated on each occasion. A later update stated that he had made a partial recovery and was able to walk short distances and play the guitar. This was published in November 2014.
Travis, according to reports, continues to struggle with aphasia, or trouble with language or speaking. Travis, on the other hand, according to his wife, Mary, still sings on occasion.
