According to reports, Travon Shaw, 32, was responsible for both shootings. Johnson seemed to owe him money, according to him. Although the cops found two separate weapons being used, the Curtis Bay surveillance camera showed both guys approaching the location where the policewoman was shot and fatally wounded. Two firearms have been recovered by investigators.
According to court documents, Shaw was released on his own recognisance while awaiting a trial after his arrest for having a handgun in March of 2020. The second defendant has a criminal record that includes being convicted of three armed robberies in 2006 and serving a 15-year jail term.
