Kevin Hilt, 39, of Mimosa St, is the 39-year-old guy who collided with the back of the car Abby was driving.
In 2021, he pled guilty to criminally negligent murder for his part in an 11-year-old girl's death in a 2018 vehicle collision. He pleaded guilty in Henry County Circuit Court and was sentenced to four years in the Department of Corrections.
Additionally, he was first charged with two counts of vehicular murder, which corresponded to two distinct sections of the legislation. Additionally, he was charged with vehicular assault, two charges of reckless endangerment, and driving under the influence. Meanwhile, all of these charges have been dropped or reduced with the exception of one vehicular homicide accusation.
He is presently incarcerated and will remain so until 2025 for the murder, according to the sentence.
