Drew Kelleher was a lacrosse player in his younger years.

His home is in Massachusetts, where he lives with his family. His parents, Jeanne and Dan, welcomed him into the world. His mother was a member of the college's first female graduation class in 1978, and his father, Dan, was a member of the college's first male graduating class in 1977. In addition, his grandpa, Daniel, was a member of the Jaspers' basketball team during his grandmother's tenure.

When it comes to his educational history, he graduated from Vermont with a bachelor's degree in teaching. When he started his coaching career at Hamilton College in 2010, the Continentals had a 21-7 record throughout his first two seasons there.

Along the way, he has also contributed to the Jaspers' sharing of the MAAC Regular Season Championship in 2021 as well as a berth in the MAAC Championship game at Gaelic Park.

When he led the Jaspers to their first MAAC Regular Season Championship in school history and first since 2002, he was unanimously selected as the conference's Coach of the Year by his colleagues.

In addition, he has worked as an assistant coach and offensive coordinator at MAAC foe Siena University. Furthermore, he assisted the Saints to an 11-5 record and the MAAC regular-season championship while also serving as the catalyst for the nation's fourth-ranked offensive offence, which averaged more than 12 goals per game.
