Artur Pawlowski is the senior pastor of the Cave of Adullam Church in Calgary, and a Polish-Canadian Protestant street preacher.

Canadian police arrested him for allegedly planning a religious service that disobeyed social distancing guidelines and did not require attendees to wear masks.

Pastor Artur Pawlowski Arrested In Canada Video Explained

In a viral video shared on social media, Artur Pawlowski was seen condemning local police and screaming comparisons to Nazi Germany at offices as they demanded parishioners leave Passover celebrations over their complete rebuke of COVID-19 regulations.

The directive sets further constraints on protest and demonstration organizers, including masking, physical separation, and attendance limits, according to the statement. Following that, Pawlowski was taken to custody. 

Why Is Pastor Artur Pawlowski Arrested?

On May 8, 2021, Canadian police arrested Pawlowski and his brother Dawid for organizing, promoting, and attending an illegal public gathering. 

According to Calgary Police Service claimed that law enforcement “recognize people’s desire to engage in faith-based events as well as the freedom to protest,” but they want to “ensure everyone’s safety and wellness.”

Pastor Artur was later released from custody on May 10, 2021.

Artur Pawlowski Early Life

Artur Pawlowski was born in Kozuchow, Poland, on March 28, 1973, and resided in Greece with his parents before immigrating to Canada in 1995. In 2004, he was granted citizenship by the Government of Canada.

Pawlowski and other street evangelists utilized a truck’s PA system to deliver sermons throughout the city in 2005. Then he founded and pastored Street Church Ministers, an open-air preaching and Christian street outreach ministry. In addition, he served as the pastor of Kings Glory Fellowship (KGF).

Interestingly, he is also the founder and pastor of Street Church Ministers (SCM), an open-air preaching and Christian street outreach organization.
