Why has Elizabeth Eaton been detained?

Elizabeth Eaton, 52, was apprehended after #PPDVCU investigators meticulously built probable cause for her arrest.

She is also suspected of leaving the scene of a major injury accident in which our motor officer was injured and was discovered yesterday laying on the road.

According to police, after interviewing with witnesses and analysing video and other evidence, investigators developed probable cause to arrest Eaton.

She was located late Monday night near the intersection of 18th and Glendale avenues.

She was taken into custody and charged with escaping the scene of a major accident.
